I would have to say that my greatest accomplishment was becoming fully aware of how important teaching is and how powerful teachers are, i.e., how much damage we can do psychologically and emotionally if we are not extremely careful to do our jobs well in every regard. Not only do we have to be competent in our chosen field but have to have the desire to transmit our competence and passion to students without doing damage.
