Mathematics shows how to find common patterns in seemingly disconnected events. All my mathematical activities in general, and my teaching in particular, are driven by this core realization. As I see it, mathematics is the unifying theme that underlies almost every human endeavor. When I teach mathematics, I am primarily motivated to help my students appreciate this role of mathematics as they learn. I teach that the most important part of mathematics consists of its concepts. In order either to pursue mathematics for its own sake, or to apply its methods to other disciplines and projects, my students must study these concepts with the goal of internalizing them. I genuinely enjoy teaching, both for the joy of sharing mathematics with others, and for the opportunity to revisit old material and enhance my own understanding. I am confident in my ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, notably in areas of pure mathematics such as calculus, algebra, and topology.

My research areas include Mathematics Education and Teacher Education. I have published an action research article titled, “Effectiveness of Child-Centric Pedagogical Approaches in Solving Algebraic Equations.” I believe in professional development and career advancement through hard work and personal efforts. I am fully committed to research in an environment where maintaining excellence in teaching Mathematics is of primary importance. I am mainly interested in pursuing research in Mathematics Education. I developed a passion for interdisciplinary approach while I was pursuing Masters in Education. I am drawn to problems with Real Analysis and those with significant applications.
